FAQ

Which wood is right for me – beech, oak or eucalyptus?

Beech and oak are dense hardwoods: they burn slowly and give steady heat for a long time. Israeli eucalyptus is a good-value choice for everyday use. Not sure? Tell us on WhatsApp which fireplace you have and we will recommend.

Pellets or briquettes?

Pellets are for pellet stoves and fireplaces. Compressed briquettes suit a regular wood fireplace and give a long, even burn. Wood fireplace – wood or briquettes; pellet stove – pellets.

How much do I need for a whole winter?

It depends on the size of the house, the insulation and how often you light the fire. Tell us about your home and fireplace and we will help you estimate – so you do not order too much or too little.

How do I store it in the rain?

Keep wood in a covered, ventilated place, off the ground (on the pallet, for example) and covered on top only, so air keeps flowing. Keep pellets and briquettes in closed bags in a dry place – moisture breaks them down.
